BORO was created by two sisters who have always found joy in making something out of nothing.

Hi, we’re Una and Jovana!

Long before BORO existed, creativity was already part of everything we did — from over-the-top family parties during COVID, to handmade details, themed dinners, custom signage, DIY décor, and finding ways to turn even the smallest gatherings into something unforgettable.

We didn’t realize it at the time, but we were already building BORO.

Una is the hands-on creator — the one who somehow makes the impossible possible. From woodworking and resin art to handmade candles, DIY favours, oversized props, intricate costumes, crafting, styling structures, and bringing ideas to life physically, she’s the true builder behind BORO’s immersive details.

Jovana is the detail-driven designer — the one obsessing over fonts, menus, colour palettes, graphics, signage, and the tiny touches that make everything feel cohesive and intentional. If it needs to feel on-brand and visually unforgettable, she’s probably already created five versions of it in Canva.

Together, we fell in love with the process of pulling a theme together — not just decorating a space, but creating a feeling.

What started as a hobby quickly became something bigger. Friends, family, and even venues kept asking us how we managed to transform ordinary gatherings into experiences that felt thoughtful, immersive, and effortlessly cool.

So we decided to bring that feeling to you.
